Armed with only a drum machine and a guitar, Tim Rally Gold (just two dudes with a four-track) decided to record a long-player. The dance-rock craze was at an all-time high when the songs were written, so you might detect notes of the Postal Service or the Rapture. Still, the true strengths shine through and the awkward sing-along choruses and melody-heavy riffs remain the highlights. Recommended if you like They Might Be Giants, Guided By Voices, and Ween.
